HIM used to be doom metal (earlier years), but over the years shifted to alternative rock...
doom metal is not the same as black metal...
daimonion is an alternative/gothic rock band and was never even within the spectrum of black metal...

beast of satan is a heavy metal band, and although the members are indeed "satanists" not all bands who worship satan actually play black metal...

cradle of filth is a symphonic black/extreme metal act and contrary to what baby bats say, is not and never was Goth...
gorgoroth is a pure black metal band and isn't even borderline gothic metal, but you're saying that gorgoroth is Goth?

bud even if you don't know the name of the band or the song you can tell whether it is or is not black metal by simply listening to the damned song...
